We are happy to take care of your carburettors for Japanese motorcycles from the 70s, 80s and 90s. This regardless of whether they just need tuning / adjustment or a complete renovation. There are parts in stock for most models of Mikuni and Keihin carburetors and if they are not in stock, we have fast deliveries of quality parts from suppliers in Japan and Germany. If you do not have experience with carburettor renovation or understand the carburettor’s working principle, we strongly advise you not to “fiddle” yourself. There are many classic examples of when clients more or less destroyed the carburettors due to lack of knowledge and then it can end up being quite expensive. Renovated carburettors come with a basic setting but must of course be synchronized and adjusted so that they provide maximum performance and driveability on each motorcycle. If you want to visit, we will of course take care of this last little laying on of hands at a reasonable cost.

Golden rules to avoid carburettor problems

  • Do not refuel with 95 octane petrol with a high ethanol content.
  • Drain the carburetors before the winter season
  • Do not try to synchronize the carburetors without the correct equipment
  • Store the bike dry and at an even temperature, during off season
  • Many advise to drive the “Aspen” before winter storage. WARNING! Shortly before stopping is ok but don’t run on that fuel because it can cause a lot of damage.
